SPEAKER PROFILE

Mr. Yahya Alansari graduated with a degree in Petroleum Geology. He has over 25 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry working on a variety of plays and projects including exploration and field development, conventional and unconventional resources along with CO2 and thermal EOR projects.

He started his career as a Petroleum Geologist and held several leadership and management roles in the national oil company. Yahya gained invaluable experience working on the Bahrain Field and other areas of hydrocarbon interest in the country. One of his biggest achievements during his career in the oil industry is the discovery of Khalij Al Bahrain Basin in 2017 which is considered the biggest in Bahrain history.

Mr. Alansari joined Tatweer Petroleum as General Manager of Exploration and Development in 2019 and is currently managing the country’s most important exploration and production activities.

Furthermore, Yahya Al Ansari is the Founder and Owner of YNH Systems Company, which is the first R&D Company in electronics prototyping and manufacturing in Bahrain.  Through his company, he successfully produced the first electronic product that is entirely manufactured locally and exported regionally.  He participated in different international conferences and exhibitions for innovation and entrepreneurship and was awarded by a number of local and global organizations and honoured by UNIDO award as The First “Techno-preneur” in Bahrain.
