Bahrain International Project Management Convention set to Develop Bahrain as a Project Management Hub
The BIBF’s Head of Operations, IT and Project Management Mr. Ahmed Al Naeemi stated today that Bahrain International Project Management Convention 2016 is the first of its kind in the region extending to one full month with a specific focus on Project Management training development.
“When we talk about the field of Project Management, Bahrain International Project Management Convention 2016 is the most comprehensive training solution for anyone interested in managing any project in any sector whether they are professionals or beginners. The convention will compromise of 30 workshops relevant to all industries and presented by 4 leading professional trainers in the Project Management field, the convention is about connecting professions, collaborating with fellow Project Management peers and contributing back to the community”, he added.
The convention will be held between 1-30 of November, through a strategic partnership with Tamkeen and communication partnership with Batelco.
The participants can enjoy networking with senior professionals in the Project Management field, benefiting from corporate team building games, and taking advantage of the wealth of information and knowledge. The workshops will be divided into morning and evening classes.
Various workshops within the convention will be presented by international speakers who will discuss Project Management Essentials, Project Charter, Managing Projects Meeting, Work Breakdown Structure, Women in Project Management, Tools for Managing Small Projects and much more.
The Convention aims to enrich human capital knowledge and skills management, planning, cost control, increase of profits, preparation of budgets and enhancement of total quality under current economic conditions. Also, the convention will target skills in the gap areas of managing projects effectively in several economic sectors and organisational structures. In addition, the participants will be able to learn the challenges and opportunities of successful business operations and the method followed to convert them into effective tools against various challenges or bottlenecks and other routine issues. Eventually, the convention will provide the opportunity to enrich and enhance the skills and capabilities of the local human capital in the kingdom of Bahrain and the region.
The convention will be concluded with a practical first of its kind competition in Project Management. The competition will be a practical activity and implementation of the Project Management principles and methodology. Whereby corporate teams will assemble a bicycle using these methodologies which will provide participants with a practical executions of Project Management principles.
