Amal Dokhan
CEO, Global Entrepreneurship Network GEN Saudi at GEN Global

Throughout her career Amal gained a diversified range of experience in different fields and roles including management, marketing, business development, building partnerships, startup seed funding, startup investment facilitation and creating programs based on Science, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Technology.

Recently Amal was appointed as the CEO of the Global Entrepreneurship network to manage the Saudi chapter under the umbrella of GEN global in Washington DC and Monshaat Saudi as she focuses in her current term on Angel investors training and increasing the number of invested startups in Saudi with many activities with ecosystem builders. Previously Amal was holding two positions one as a Managing Director for Babson Global Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and the other one as a Director of VentureLab at Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College as she manages multiple activities including stakeholders alignment, strategic partnership in and outside the Kingdome related to Babson college, entrepreneurship and ecosystem activities inside and outside the Kingdome, research and case study writing, handling the startup activities in the college.

Previously, Amal was part of the Entrepreneurship Center at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in a number of roles including leading the TAQADAM university accelerator sponsored by SABB, she also lead the program design of the signature program in Corporate Innovation REVelate which opened different doors for the center to offer training programs to a diversified group of Saudi and International companies such as Dow chemicals, Sabic, Aramco, Elm, STC, AbuDawoud and few government entities such as the ministry of Education, ministry of Health etc .

Prior to that she worked in the KAUST Seed Funding department that funded research projects based on science and Technology from KAUST, while providing a range of services to startup clients such as access to market and investors meetings.

Amal has previously managed an educational organization; during that time she designed programs and started several innovative initiatives to be implemented by the educators to change the mindsets in order to foster creativity and Innovation in the work place and the educational tools.
