SPEAKER PROFILE

Sidney Wheatley is an experienced executive with extensive experience in forming and leading new companies from planning phase into an operating entity. He is also adept at forming private equity and acquisition strategies based on deep analysis of the underlying business model and economic environment. He holds an MBA degree and is currently a Level 2 candidate in the CFA Program.

Sidney is currently the CIO at a Private Family Office and the Interim CEO of Skil Brum, a technology focused platform  for accessing and enabling interaction between mid to top tier US based funds and investing partners in the GCC.

Sidney also lectures at the University of Strathclyde to deliver ‘Strategy, Analysis & Evaluation’ and ‘Exploring The International Business Environment’ modules to Bahrain’s part time MBA candidates. Delivered modules focus on understanding long term strategies, creative thinking and design thinking methodologies. It also focuses on utilizing the digital opportunities to support organizational strategies.
