BIBF Students Achieve Top Honours in UK’s Bangor University
The students of the BIBF have once again made history by achieving top honours for their performance in Bangor University’s BSc examinations, outperforming and outshining other students on an international level. Three awards for the top performance in the examinations went to Bahraini students who studied for the first part of their degree at the BIBF and spent their final year at Bangor University’s Campus in the United Kingdom. The Bahraini students received honours in the following:
- The Bangor Business School Award for Best Performance in Accounting and Finance went to Noor Altajer.
- The Bangor Business School Award for Best Performance in Banking and Finance went to Reem Al Mandeel.
- The Jack Revell Prize for best marks in Banking went to Fareema Hasan.
In addition, a total of seven students from the BIBF graduated with First Class Honours.
Commenting on these successes, Dr Keith Sharp, Head of the Academic Centre at the BIBF, said: “These are outstanding achievements. We are immensely proud that students from BIBF have out-performed students from around the world in these subjects. The standards of Bangor University programmes are exceptionally high and to have scored so highly in Banking, Accounting and Finance is a tribute to the hard work of the students themselves and the dedicated lecturers of BIBF and Bangor University.”
