The BIBF Students make history in the 2017 ACCA Regional Awards Ceremony

The Students of The Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance made history in the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Regional Awards ceremony 2017 held on the 3^rd of May 2017, by receiving the highest number of awards in a given year. These awards are given by the ACCA for achieving the highest grades in the ACCA professional level exam papers, where the BIBF students achieved the highest grades in six different papers.

The ACCA qualification is a globally recognised Chartered Accounting qualification that provides those working in the financial sector with a set of key skills and abilities that are required to adhere to international best practices and standards.

The BIBF Students who enrolled for the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) exams held in June, September and December last year have successfully exceeded Global pass rates and achieved the highest grades in six different ACCA Professional exam papers.

These outstanding results were achieved by Manal Azim who received the Top Achiever award in the Middle East for her outstanding performance in the paper F5- Performance Management as well as F6- Taxation, F7- Financial Reporting; Fatim Al Mahari in F8- Audit and Assurance;  Meera Sadasivan in F5- Performance Management and Dinesh Shetty in F7- Financial Reporting.

BIBF’s Head of Accounting & Banking Centre, Deen Jayah commented, “This achievement is unprecedented for the BIBF, it was such a proud moment to hear our students’ names fly high at the ACCA awards ceremony and for the BIBF to achieve what no other training provider in Bahrain has achieved before. This result, reflects the commitment of our highly qualified team and our training methodology that creates a strong support system for our ACCA students to thrive in these competitive exams”.

These ACCA awards reflect the passion and dedication of our students and faculty to work together and produce impeccable and outstanding results.
