Anood Abbas is an accomplished Human Resources executive with a robust 14+ year tenure in the dynamic telecommunications sector. With a comprehensive background spanning various HR leadership positions, including notable roles such as Head of People and Culture and Head of Training & Development at Batelco then Beyon, she has consistently demonstrated her expertise in driving organizational excellence.

In September 2023, Anood assumed the role of Head of the Leadership and Management Centre at BIBF, further solidifying her reputation as a visionary leader in the field. Her strategic acumen and dedication to fostering a culture of growth have been instrumental in aligning human capital with corporate strategies and goals, ensuring sustained success.

Anood’s professional ethos is deeply rooted in her passion for working and empowering people and cultivating thriving corporate cultures. Her adeptness in spearheading learning and development initiatives, driving the employee engagement success,  facilitating effective communication, and forging strategic partnerships has resulted in the seamless execution of numerous high-impact projects throughout her career including an HR Transformational project and her role in the Batelco-Bnet separation by driving the employee engagement strategies and initiatives.

Beyond her corporate endeavors, Anood is also an influential thought leader where she was featured as a speaker on prestigious national and international platforms such as Total Telecom Congress- UK, Linkedin Local Manama, General Assembly and  Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society (BBS) .

Her engagements on speaking panels delve into pivotal HR themes within the telecommunications realm and beyond, including employee engagement, leadership, wellbeing, and the advancement of women in technology and women empowerment.

Anood holds an MBA from the prestigious University of Strathclyde and is a certified member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Complementing her academic achievements, she has completed a bespoke 1 year Executive Leadership Program from the esteemed London Business School, further enhancing her strategic leadership capabilities.

In addition to her professional commitments, Anood serves as an Advisory Board Member for Women in Tech Bahrain (WIT), underscoring her dedication to fostering diversity and inclusion within the technology sector. Her tenure with WIT spans from 2022 to 2025, exemplifying her enduring commitment to driving positive change within the industry.
