Dr. Maitham AlOraibi

Senior Manager of Quality Assurance

Dr. Maitham has a unique mixture of practical and academic profile in quality management and organizational performance management in private and public sectors. He has a proven record of success of more than 23 years, out of which 15 years were in petrochemical industry and five years in the government sector. Dr. Maitham started his career as an engineer, moved gradually into quality management system implementation and auditing. In his last position in the petrochemical industry, Dr. Maitham was heading the quality assurance laboratory section. After 15 years in the private sector, Dr. Maitham has augmented his experience then in quality management in the public sector. He joined the Quality Assurance Authority for Education and Training as senior director.

Building on his hands-on experience private and public sector, Dr. Maitham has been active in delivering consulting works helping organizations, from both sector, in designing and implementing quality management, strategic management and performance improvement programs. In addition to his consulting roles, Dr. Maitham has been teaching in some higher education institutes in the region. He teaches various courses on quality management, strategic management, as well project management. He has also supervised number of master degree projects.
