Flat6Labs Bahrain and BIBF join hands to accelerate startups

Flat6Labs Bahrain and Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) are proud to announce their official partnership, which will cover multiple initiatives to foster growth amongst Bahrain’s entrepreneurs and startups.

BIBF and Flat6Labs Bahrain will be collaborating on training programmes to benefit the accelerator’s cohorts, as well as providing academics and professionals for mentoring. Flat6Labs Bahrain will in turn be supporting the leading education institution by lending its knowledge, network and expertise in various capacities.

Managing Director of Flat6Labs Bahrain, Ryaan Sharif said, “It is important for the education sector to be more involved in the efforts towards supporting entrepreneurship and local startups in the country. The BIBF is a good example of this and we are pleased to be partnering with such an esteemed institution.”

Supported by Tamkeen, Flat6Labs Bahrain aims to foster a dynamic and sustainable entrepreneurship environment and investment vehicle, support job creation, and help position Bahrain as an innovation leader in the Gulf and MENA region at large.

The BIBF is affiliated to the Central Bank of Bahrain and was established in 1981, benefiting more than 340,000 learners over the years in various fields, including Banking, Accounting, Insurance, Leadership & Management, IT & Project Management, Academic programmes, in addition to providing internationally-recognized training solutions.
