The ten sessions will be led by expert subject matter along with entrepreneurs who have rich experience in startup mentorship.

1. Entrepreneurial Mindset, Feasibility Study, Business Plan & Understanding Market Gaps**
Overview
- Learn how to develop and assess new opportunities that are the critical first step in moving an idea from concept to launch and implementation
- Learn how to develop, define and clearly communicate a new business concept or initiative in an efficient, effective and compelling manner
- Understand what a feasibility study is and when it is used
- Learn how to develop a feasibility study and effectively identify market gaps
- How creativity, opportunity and feasibility are best evaluated
- Assess competition, target market, customer trends and industry data
- Get an overview of business plan and understand its types, benefits and key components
- Learn how to effectively implement the business plan outcome and report on the progress of it

9. Business & Financial Valuation and Exit Strategies
Overview
- Understand how valuations ae calculated and why they are important
- Understand the foundations and sources of value creation
- Understand the concepts of cost of capital and value per share and how they are calculated
- Learn how to prepare valuation reporting
- Understand the different strategies and methods for valuing a company and learn how to use common valuation strategies to set a reasonable price for your company, and negotiate favorable terms
- Understand how venture capital and angel investors use valuations in negotiating milestones, influence and control
- Explore the process of ‘exit’ from the perspective of the entrepreneur and the investor
- Learn the different types of exit strategies including corporate acquisition, merger or IPO and how to select the right one for the business
- Understand how to perform analysis of alternative exit scenarios and sensitivity analysis

Office Hours:
- Three office hours per entrepreneur to walk through their specific business cases and provide 1:1 mentorship.
- Mandatory office hours will be in the below modules:
- Office Hour 1: Entrepreneurial Mindset, Feasibility Study, Business Plan & Understanding Market Gaps** – Duration: 1 hour
- Office Hour 2: Understanding Loans, Funding & Equity Investment to Fund Growth and Optimize Cost of Capital** – Duration: 30 minutes
- Office Hour 3: Financial Planning, Financial Control & Budgeting** – Duration: 30 minutes
- Office Hour 4: To provide mentorship for any of the remaining modules as per the entrepreneur’s choice. Duration: 1 hour (participants can choose when submitting an application in the apply now tab).

Will I receive a certificate?
Upon successful completion of all the above modules, as well as the required office hours, you will be receiving an SME certificate.
Physical or virtual mode of delivery?
All classes will be run physically in BIBF premises.
Are there any prerequisites?
This programme is specifically designed for all entrepreneurs within the Kingdom of Bahrain. The main focus is to help you improve your financials as well as managerial acumen.
Can I work full-time and be enrolled in this programme?
Yes, all the courses are scheduled during evenings.
Will there be any assessments at the end of each course?
The courses are non-examinable
What is meant by office hours?
- Three office hours for a total of 4 hours per entrepreneur to walk through their specific business cases and provide 1:1 mentorship.
- Office hour # 1 to provide mentorship for the second module. i.e. Understanding Loans, Funding & Equity Investment to Fund Growth and Optimize Cost of Capital
- Office hour # 2 and 3 to provide mentorship for modules 3 and 6 as combined hours. i.e. Entrepreneurial Mindset, Feasibility Study, Business Plan & Understanding Market Gaps and Financial Planning, Financial Control & Budgeting
- Office hour # 4 to provide mentorship for any of the remaining modules as per the entrepreneur’s choice. Modules to be selected for the additional office hour prior to the start of the program.
- The office hours to be linked to clear outcomes, including the following at minimum:
- Guide entrepreneur on creating clear funding strategy
- Guide entrepreneurs on clearly analyzing and identifying business and market risks and opportunities
- Guide entrepreneurs on creating a successful and impactful business plan and feasibility study
- Guide entrepreneurs on developing a budget forecast and projections for 3-5 years including sensitivity analysis
