Masters students at the Royal Academy of Police visits the BIBF Institute
The Royal Police Academy, represented by the Officers Training College, organised a field visit to the Bahrain Institute for Banking and Financial Studies (The BIBF) for 55 students of the Master’s Programme in Management and Security Sciences (fourth batch).
During the visit, the students were briefed on the centres and functions of the Institute, the most prominent academic and training programmes offered to students, and employees who wish to obtain international qualifications and enhance their specialised abilities in various fields. The students were accompanied by the head of the Graduate Studies Department, the Head of the Educational Curriculum, the teacher of the course, as well as officials from the BIBF.
The students attended a lecture on Economic Security delivered by Dr. Tarek Saif, the principle lecturer at the Center for Insurance at the BIBF, which included important topics such as the status of economic security in the national security system, analysis of threats related to economic security, economic security and the sources of economic and logistic threats and the resulting risks, financing terrorism: sources and methods. Dr. Abdullah Bader Al-Sada, the head of the Institute’s Leadership and Management Centre, spoke about the different aspects of the institute’s activities.
