Tamkeen partners with The BIBF For the Cyber Security Forum and Expo 2017
Under the patronage of the Central Bank of Bahrain, Tamkeen announces its Strategic Partnership for this year’s “Cyber Security Forum and Expo 2017”. The BIBF is hosting the first of its kind annual forum and exhibition dedicated to Cyber Security next week.
The Forum & Expo is a unique concept in the region that brings in international leading experts to maximise the learning experience of attendees on the critical topic of Cyber Security. The event will run for three days starting from the 16th until the 18th May 2017.
This strategic partnership is in line with Tamkeen’s vision and mission to empower Bahrainis to prosper and contribute to the national economy and to create opportunities for Bahraini individuals and enterprises in Bahrain to develop, making Bahrainis the employees of choice in the market.
This year, the Forum & Expo will feature international professionals in the field of cyber security, to enrich Bahrain’s human capital knowledge and capability in the field of Cyber Security to benefit all sectors, by providing interactive learning workshops and training sessions in addition to exhibiting the latest relevant technological trends.
The forum and expo will have a variety of international experts delivering forum sessions, training workshops and exhibiting their products and services. International speakers and trainers will cover a wide range of cyber security aspects that can benefit employees and decision makers from all sectors in Bahrain.
During the Forum, in the first 2 days, a total of 20 International speakers will deliver their insights into the world of Cyber Security. Amongst the most well-known speakers delivering the Forum sessions include Mr. Tony Chew, the Chief Security Architect from V-KEY (Singapore), Mr. Chris Brown, Security Solutions Consultant from Digital Shadows (UK), Fadi Mutlak from Partner and Leader of the Cyber Risk Services Practice Deloitte (Middle East), Mr. Hakem Isa, Cyber Security Advisor from IBM (US) amongst many others.
The specialised workshops shed light on various topics within Cyber Security giving the participants a more comprehensive assessment of cyber loopholes and eminent threats to organisational data and sensitive customer information and how to protect it. These will be full day training workshops where participants will select their preferred workshop based on available training sessions offered by leading International companies including, Digital Shadows (UK), NGN International and Cyber Algorithmic (US).
