The BIBF Holds Its Annual Training Managers Meeting
The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) recently held its annual consultation meeting with training representatives from the Insurance and Financial services sectors at the BIBF premises.
The annual consultation meeting included an overview of the BIBF’s achievements and future strategic plans for the upcoming year by introducing the new programmes in partnership with international organisations.
On this occasion, the BIBF’s Director, Dr. Ahmed Abdulhameed Al Shaikh addressed the training and development requirements of the sectors, discussed improvement opportunities, and stressed the importance of training and development to meet the growing needs of a highly skilled labour force.
Dr. Ahmed welcomed participants, and stressed the importance of these meetings to support the growth of the industry to further strengthen Bahrain’s position as a regional financial and services hub. The BIBF also presented attendees with the 2018 training and development catalogue in addition to noting feedback from representatives of the sectors, in order to customise training programmes to be offered during the year.
The session was attended by a group of training representatives from the insurance and financial services sector in Bahrain.
