The BIBF partners with Euromoney Learning Solutions
The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Euromoney Learning Solutions (a division of Euromoney Institutional Investor) to further enhance human capital skills and knowledge within the region by launching development courses for senior management and executives of the Banking and Financial sector. The MOU was signed by the Director of the BIBF Ms. Solveig Nicklos, and Euromoney Learning Solutions CEO Mr. Guy Cooper, at the BIBF campus in Juffair.
The fundamental purpose of the MOU is to facilitate the cooperation between the two organisations in providing relevant activities relating to the training and development of human capital in the banking and financial sector in Bahrain and the region.
The BIBF is launching multiple courses to benefit senior executives – starting in November with its highly successful “Corporate Finance School” and Chief Risk Officer Programmes.
On this occasion, the BIBF’s Director, Ms. Solveig Nicklos, emphasised the significance of this cooperation and said, “The BIBF is proud to partner with Euromoney Learning Solutions, as it is one of the top advanced training providers for the banking and financial sectors globally and we are looking forward to witness the valuable returns. This is in line with the BIBF’s strategy to continue being a pioneer in providing excellent training and development programmes for human capital development in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the region”.
Furthermore, Mr. Deen Jayah, the Head of the Centre for Banking, Accounting and Finance at the BIBF stated, “I am delighted that we are partnering with Euromoney Learning Solutions, a leading UK-based firm to offer advanced training and development solutions to the Banking and Finance community in Bahrain. We are receiving positive feedback on courses that we have planned to offer with Euromoney, which will also serve as an excellent opportunity in providing effective solutions to address the executive development agenda of the financial services sector”.
On his part, Mr. Guy Cooper, CEO of Euromoney Learning Solutions said, “We are delighted to be working with the BIBF, the leading Training Institute in the Middle East. We look forward to meeting the learning needs of mid-senior managers, as well as the C-suite, by developing a financial ‘Executive Development’ curriculum. Through this partnership, we will bring our international best practice and thought leadership to Bahrain. “
