The BIBF Wins the ME ‘Network Cabling Project of the Year’ Award
The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), Bahrain’s leading provider of quality training and development, was recognised at the recent Network World Middle East 2018 Awards ceremony held in Dubai, UAE, achieving the ‘Network Cabling Project of the Year. The award-winning project was conducted in-house by the BIBF’s IT Department without a single day of disruption in business operations.
The Network World ME Awards, in its ninth edition, brings together the IT networking community in the Middle East to celebrate the success of the industry in the past 12 months. The awards seek to celebrate network industry champions across all aspects of the enterprise network, from data centres, through hardware, software and security.
The participants were nominated via public online voting from a list of finalists selected by an esteemed panel of judges comprised of respected independent analysts, consultants and IT researchers.
On this occasion, the Head of Operations, IT & Project Management at the BIBF, Mr. Ahmed Naeemi stated, “We are extremely delighted to be recognised by this prestigious award, as it reflects our dedication to pushing the boundaries of technology and the efforts put into providing quality training and development for the Financial Services industry.” He also added, Networking is the backbone of the IT infrastructure and having a high-quality network is essential to a healthy IT environment, and this project was designed to ensure proper cabling and labeling is present throughout the organisation, in order to deliver a faster and more reliable connectivity.
